Reg:Live worms in Charlie Peanut Laddu- purchased from Reliance Fresh outlet at Aundh Pune.
We purchased two packets of Charlie Peanut Laddu on 7th March 13 and opened it on 8th March 13.
We were shocked to find live white worms moving inside the packet. Luckily my daughter noticed
and showed it to all family members.
We were about to feed the same to our grandchild of about 3 years, as we believed that Reliance Fresh
always stores only fresh stock and would take care to ensure that food items do not contain LIVE WORMS.
Hence we did not notice the month of packing at the time of purchase.
The bar code number on the packet is 8 906005 670250. Packed on Nov 12 Best before use March 13.
If it is upto March 13, you should not have stored the packet in the outlet after 1st March 13, or if it is including
March 13, you should have checked that the food item is fit for consumption without any Live Worms
therein.
Please arrange to collect both the packets from me and refund Rs.110 and conveyance charges of Rs.100
immediately.
