Dear Sir/Madam,

 

I have purchased a CFL having brand name RelGlow,20 watt on 05.11.2010 from your store situated at Vijay Path,Mansarovar,Jaipur, Rajasthan. As the same is not working therefore I have contacted the store incharge around 10 days back and produced the faulty CFL for doing the needful in the matter.

 

Since than various type of arguments for non replacement of the products have been given by him like :-

 

1.         The product was under guarantee for a period of six months only.

2.         Presently the same product is not available with them that's why it is not possible    to exchange the same.

 

3.         The product cannot be exchanged without producing the bill.

 

In this regard, I want to submit as under:-

 

1.         As per the carton of the product the guarantee period is for 12 months.

2.         At the time of sale of said CFL the sales executive, after issuing the bill , has marked the product as "05.11.2010 Reliance Fresh Vijay Path"  .While enquired he has explained that now there is no need to preserve the bill, the date of sale alongwith store name are marked on the product for any requirement in the future.

 

The above fact has already been brought to the notice of the store incharge but in reply he has even alleged that how can he believe that the CFL was marked by the sales executive and not by the customer (i.e. me).

 

I have asked to check their records of 05.11.2010 for correctness of my claim but no satisfactory reply has been received from him so far. It is also submitted that the aforesaid product was manufactured during July-2010 and as far as my knowledge the said CFL brand RelGlow was sold at your stores only.

 

It is therefore requested to please look into the matter and do the needful in the matter.

I am a lawyer in Belgaum and a regular customer of reliance fresh outlet at Nehru nagar Belgaum branch.
Today i had cash around 10000/- which was paid by my client and as i had not carried my handbag My clinet wrapped it in a plastic bag and put the same in a carry bag. I entered the store as usual  but with the bag, the security guard stopped me, and i said i hv cash in it , for that the watchman behaved in a rude manner and said "hey tum kidar jataye tum bahar jao" so i went went outside to keepthe bag in my vehicle , at that time the secutiry guard commented 'EK customer gaya toh kya farak nahin Padtay".
Tell me , please are we dogs or beggars to be addressed as "hey", he could hv addressed as madam, which he did'nt.
The neighbouring  More retail outlet is better than ur Reliance fresh, at least we are not treated as dogs.Further ur, service is also not fast, we hv to wait for almost ten mins at tthe counter even if we buy few things and change is never available, always the amount is rounded of to the nearest ruppee, and many a times we r not returned 50 paise or 1 rupee, So please tell me who is benefiting, is it not U.
Ur service is not satisfactory and with such security guards  who wnats to enter that store hence forth.
 
we will look for better sores than urs.

Hi,

I have visited the Reliance Fresh store, Hennur Road, Bangalore
yesterday at around 3 PM (July 20, 2011). I am a regular customer and
have a Reliance Fresh card also. I purchased lot of Mangoes and Water
melons. During billing, the billing lady by name "Uma" put the mangoes
and water melons in single carry bag. It was unable to hold so much of
weight. I just asked to put them under one more carry bag. Just
because of this, she started abusing me and humiliated in front of
other customers. She told me that Rs. 5 will be charged for each
cover. Instead of arguing, I just paid extra Rs. 5 and took my things.
In addition to this, the security guard by name "Babu" also joined her
and humiliated me mentioning that not to behave like mad person. I do
not know, why he came in between instead of doing his job at the exit
gate checking for bills. During this process, I observed that some
customers managed to carry away some things without bill, since there
was no security at the exit gate. I never expected such a pathetic
behaviour from the staff at Reliance Fresh store. Due to this, I am
planning to avoid visiting Reliance Fresh Stores in future and also
suggest other people not to visit because of indecent staff. Hope that
there will be some kind of action on them and at least some response
for this mail.
If you want more details like bill number and my Reliance card number,
kindly let me know, so that I can provide them.

Before you start wondering where this mail has come from, let me take the pain of introducing you to me. I am Shyam Sundar Sharma, a hapless Ex-Customer of Reliance Fresh at Chennai, courtesy ridiculous service provided by a Delivery Boy belonging to your store at Medavakkam.
 
I feel disgrunted and extremely sorry to inform you that you have lost a customer only because of poor service delivered by none other than a Delivery Boy. A loss of a single cutomer may not although hit your revenues, however it poses a strong question mark on your credibility considering that you are considered to be the First Family of Corporates in India. 
 
This mail is intended to send a signal of warning to you so that going ahead in future you don't loose many more customers like me considering that I am a share holder of your flagship company, RIL. 
 
I opted to chose Reliance Fresh inspite of the fact that I had other options with in the vicinity of my house, but was startled at the behavior of that Idiot Delivery Boy. He used abusive language as I simply requested to him to wait for a couple of minutes to ensure that all the things I have procured have been adequately delivered. Who the Hell he is to demostrate this kind of behavior when Reliance pays him for making the delivery and we pay for the goods procured.

I do acknowledge that the Management at Reliance Fresh stores takes
pain to extend & roll out the value added benefits & services offered
regularly especially on week ends.

As a loyal customer over various outlets , here is my observation &
feedback, which might be useful in ensuring customer friendly
initiatives ensuring easy, convenient shopping.

1 ) Helmet wearing has become compulsory. The provision of keeping the
helmet in the rack outside is there at all the outlets. However ,
there have been instance of swapping of helmet, leading to heated
debate , of some customers , with the staff , for no fault of theirs.
A token system of each helmet, before entry, as is prevalent in the
entry to the malls , could reduce such incidents , thereby avoiding
unnecessary tussles.

2 ) The schemes & benefit of 50 % & above stock clearance may be
displayed for the benefit of customer. Sometimes , the  sought after
clears much before the customer gets wind of the benefit meant for
him.

3 )  The Billing Counter designated employees may be advised to keep
Pen / Ball Point for the purpose of signing the charge slips. Usage of
Pencils for such purpose , does not match the image Reliance Fresh has
established over a period of time .

The above Feedback/ suggestion may be considered as a contribution
with the objective of providing , convenient shopping experience & the
Fresh smiling face of each friendly customer , in the Reliance Fresh
Family.

On 04-06-2011 night my wife prepared a glass of pediasure to my daughter from the new tin and on 05-06-2011 around 11.00.am again my wife open the foil pack inside the tin for preparing the drink and she found a thin spring type sharp metal piece inside the pack. She shocked by seeing the metal piece inside the pack and she suddenly told me to throw away the whole tin in waste basket. I felt frustrated while my wife scolded me regarding this. While told this incident to the neighbor residents they unanimously told us to lodge a complaint to the consumer court and other civic authorities and inform the same to the Medias.

 

May people are buying pediasure for their children without minding the exorbitant price for the betterment of their children's health. We are well aware that the companies like this are getting good revenue by the way of selling such products and they are spending a lot for the advertisement and other promotional activities. But meantime they should take utmost care of the production and packing side also and they should give the same attention to the product inside as like the attractive outer packing because they are playing with the life of children.


Being a father this incident hurt me a lot so I kindly request you to take necessary action regarding this. Sometimes it may save the life of many children.

Mine is a very simple & practicable suggestion, which can be easily implimented by your org.
In the Reliance Fresh, the paise 50 is never returned on retail purchases. For example, my bill is Rs. 50.50 p, I am always asked to pay Rs. 51. This kind of payment results in a lot of overpayment by a customer in a long period, say six months.  On an average, a customer like me visits your reliance fresh atleast 5 to 6 times a month. In six months my visits are say 30, and I'm losing 30 x 50 p = Rs. 15. This is an injustice on the customer's part.
 
Therefore I have two suggestions.
 
1) Credit the balance 50 p to the account of your permanent customer(membership card holders) so that the same can be accumulated and redeemed at a later date.
 
or
 
2) Just return the 50 p in kind by giving a candy worth 50 p, because market survey reveals that there are so many variety of candies available in market worth 50 p each.
 
The above two suggestions are valuable can be easily implimented instantly. please the needful.

I make the payment of bill by debit card no-4213 6852 2003 0731 of  Union Bank of India.
But your staff has swipe the debit card two times and received the amount two times.
as proof I show them the mini statement of bank account. They ( Mr.Sudhir Kumar, mobile no- 7869955284) assured me to deposit

 But still they are failed to do so.

My family regularly visits reliance Fresh .We used to buy goods from Vidyadhar Nagar , Jaipur Centre earlier and we are very happy with this centre. We have now moved to Vaishali Nagar and we have few concerns for this centre

 

I have been observing from a almost 8-9 months that  that This Shop is not managed properly.

 

The owner of the reliance fresh stores is too rude and passes rude comments in front of other customers e.g once my son borrowed a pen from this person to fill the reliance fresh form for loyalty card. Out of his habit he puts the pen in mouth. This person shouted very loudly when others standing in the shop could hear that " This pen is mine , it's not yours so do not put this pen in your mouth". He could have conveyed the same message in some other way or a bit softly and the boy would not have felt offended . Now this boy does not visit the store unless it cannot be avoided .

 

The discount slips are at times not correct on the articles. Also The staff is not interested to sell the discounted articles . e.g. they will either say that they do not have this article recorded or out of 6 cups 1 cup will be missing so that we do not buy articles

 

All these scenarios are creating a bad customer experience .

 

Pl. suggest how can you help us here .

When I complete the bill and coming to the out side then SECURITY again  tell stop and give the bill. Then I  can give the bill in security and he write to his dairy any bill information.15 MINUTE I  can wait to the out side of the store. I ask the SECURITY pls tell me what u write to he dairy b'coz I CAN WAIT TO THE 15 minute out to the store.so he tell me , u just stop UR MOUTH  and just WATCH IT. And very loudly shouting to me .and he 2 of GALI give me.SO I REQUEST TO U  CAN PLS SUSPEND THIS SECURITY''NAVIN MISHRA''.AND also this store cashier suppose any customber bill is  140.50, and customber give to the cashier 150 rs. so really cashier give to the customber in 9.50 paise but cashier give the only 9 rs. Sir,
       I had purchased Eveready Battery Charger from your outlet situated at Anmol Complex, Near Jammu Hospital, Kapurthala Road, Basti Mithu, Jalandhar on 3 MAY 2011. I can't make out the bill/invoice number on the cash receipt, which shows your indifference towards the customer care. The inscription on the said receipt shows C 9984 #0144 19:04:13 3 MAY 2011.Under the said receipt, I purchased apart from other things,one Eveready Battery Charger worth Rs. 340/-. During  the first charging with the said charger, the connecting points holding the battery have loosened rendering the said charger useless.
       Today, I contacted one of your employee/manager working in the above mentioned outlet and apprised him about the said problem. He told me that the goods sold by the Reliance do not carry and guarantee and the goods once sold cannot be replaced or repaired.
        I hereby call upon you through this notice/mail to immediately contact me with in 7 days of receipt of this mail and rectify the defect or replace the defective charger with a new one, otherwise, I will initiate appropriate legal proceedings against you noticee.

The behavior of Reliance Fresh Security personnel towards women is indecent, though for security reasons, I would not like to disclose details. The person is 28 – 30 years old, not fair in complexion, seems to be from Haryana, with smart haircut. I somehow controlled my temper and did not take up the case with manager because of simple reason I did not want it to be highlighted. He was on duty between 830 -900 pm on Monday, 6th of June.

Please look into the issue and take necessary action.

After exhibiting my patience for few months I am registering this formal complaint regarding the billing disturbances at you Reliance Mega Mart stores located near Towlichowki, Hyderabad.

I have been shopping there since quite a few months and on every visit I find billing disturbances, I have lodged complaints at every visit and the stores managers have accepted their mistakes and a manual bill was passed rectifying the amount. But looks like this thing will never get rectified as I face the same problem on every visit.


To my surprise the store's manager is never present on the floor and some of the representatives attend the complaint with the below mentioned hollow promises and lame excuses:

Explanations/Promises/Lame Excuses made by the staff at Reliance:

1.      1.  We apologize for the mistake and we will rectify this next time

2.      2.  We apologize for the mistake, as it is a week end and the customer turnout is heavy so we can't manage with the existing staff.

3.       3. There is some system error

4.       4. It's a manual mistake which we will rectify.

5.       5. The stock is new and the systems are not updated with the new prices and vice a versa

6.      6.  It will be rectified only if it is brought to our notice. etc etc etc….  

I do have all the bills with me where in it shows the mere negligence or duping by the billing staff in invoicing the amounts to the common public is done. I would demand an explanation from your end as to, why should I not take this issue to the various public forums and statutory bodies regarding the wrong billing and deceiving billing done by Reliance.

The following issues need immediate redressal:

1.      1)  I have found in some cases the billing is done beyond MRP rate (eg. Haldiram's Bhujiya which I brought from your stores)

2.       2) I have found that the offer prices mentioned on the shelves never get reflected in the bills ( I have brought this to the notice of your employees many times)

3.      3)  Many times the price displayed on the shelves is not for the same product. The product code is in bar code which I believe many of the customers do not understand and are not aware of it, upon asking for the explanation we are given that excuses that the tag was for different product.

4.      4)  More than one MRP mentioned in the system, which gives much more chance to the billing staff to commit the mistake in while billing.

I have pointed out this mistakes many times and few other customers have also joined me in tracing out the disturbances at your stores, few of the media representatives (who were also shopping there) have come forward to report this in their respective channels.

Yesterday night also I had the same problem where in the tag price was mentioned at different rate whereas I was billed at a higher rate. Upon bringing this to the notice of one Mr. Prasad (don't know as to what capacity he is working with you as he did not carry any ID card and Visiting card) he was very evasive in answering the queries, upon my asking him to call the manager he said that the manage is out of stores and he bluntly said that nothing can be given in writing as he is not allowed to do so. He was very eager to take my number with a promise to give me a call back today i.e.30th May 2011 and make me speak to his stores manager, but again as usual this turned out to be a hollow promise again.

I believe these incidents are tarnishing image of a reputed Organization and it requires immediate action from a responsible person, the customers are duped as they blind folded believe your billing system and always end up in paying more.

I would expect an immediate replies from a concern and responsible authority from Reliance Mega Mart for these queries and the mental/physical agony the customers undergo coz of negligence and misleading behavior of Reliance Mega Mart.

I am a regular visitor to Reliance Fresh store almost for a year. Today I want to bring forth an incident which I think is strange for a company of reputation like this.

After going through the advertisement in the Hindustan Times of 04.06.11, I went to Reliance Fresh store at New Friends Colony to have some purchases. After collecting all the items worth about Rs.700.00, I asked the counter clerk for the offer on the Kwality walls selection (800ml Tub), but was disappointed when the counter clerk told me that there is no stock. Being out of stock is a possibility any where for any item. So I requested him to give me a slip so that I can collect the same on the discounted price the next day. But I was refused fir this. I contacted the manager of your reliance fresh for the day Mr Anup, and he also said that it was not possible. I wonder why, when other stores give us a slip when the item on offer is not available at that moment to collect it later. I was told that I should have read " Conditions apply". Disappointingly I cancelled my programme of buying goods worth more than Rs 500.00, and got only the items which were essential for me worth Rs273.22 only.

My question to your organisation is:
1)  Is the clause "Conditions apply" is meant to make excuses and deceive your customers ?
2)  Was there anything wrong in my request for giving me a slip to collect the item the next day as I have experienced in other super stores like yours ?
3)  If your organisation is so strict on such issues, is not it necessary to put a sticker in the store about the nonavailability of the item the same way as it is advertised in a big way to attract customers ? This way one can save his time instead of wasting it in collecting the items in such stores.
4)  Last but not the least, your company could have gained from my purchases of more than Rs 500.00( even though it may be a meager amount for you) for taking advantage of the offer. This way it was a mutual advantage for both the customer and the company. However, this incidence has compelled me to think that a company of this magnitude also possibly thinks about its own earnings and not on the customer interest at all.

Before entering in store, I have deposited my luggage (bag & new Helmet Studds Jade purchased Rs. 678/-) at security counter and gone for purchasing the goods & told to security person that, kindly take care of this, because as per your store rule nobody will carry outside material in store that's why I have handed over the same to security person. After billing (Cash Memo Retail Invoice no. C6835 #0118) I go to collect my luggage and found that my helmet is not there & somebody has taken. I asked to security person regarding the same and he told me that, so many person is coming here I can't take more attention on every luggage which you are depositing here (where space was provided in rack) & we are not responsible for that.

 

After that security person's incharge & your store incharge was also there and they told me that I will taking care this issue with concern superior after that I will inform you whether you got your helmet or money and you call after 2 days. Today I called to security person's incharge & he told me that issue is not yet solved.

 

Sir, just I want to say you that I am a Reliance fresh customer having since 2 ½ years back and regularly purchasing grocery / vegetables items from Reliance Fresh only, my card no. is 2266111316406347 & you can check this at your end regarding my purchase details. If this type of incidence is happened & just ask simple things that "we are not responsible for that" who will go for purchasing the goods in your store, because customer carry their bags / outside goods etc. and he must deposit the same before entering in your store.

 

The security person incharge told me that you can meet after 3-4 days accordingly yesterday (30th May) evening I went there and purchase some goods and met that person & your store incharge & they told me we can't help in this regard & you can complaint any where.

 

You are requested, kindly look into this issue and I urge you kindly arrange to get back my helmet or their cost price Rs. 678/-

to whom so ever it concerned,

today i went to" reliance fresh" in Trivandrum. as usual i did my weekly shopping and waited in the queue which was long because of weekend. no problems. but while i was in the queue i noticed the person in the billing section never ever paid back fifty paise balance to a single customer.  on the other hand he made it a round figure and took away one rupee instead of fifty paise. i was shocked and disturbed. if we go and buy our vegetables in road side shops or with hocker we will get discount plus masalas as complimentary. actually i noticed it many times before also. this time i thought of questioning. the boy in the billing section did not reply.then i asked for the manager i went to him and asked the same. he said he is new and find out. i told him to look into the matter because it is after all customer care. back in bombay most of the big malls return the change making it a round figure where the customer  feels satisfied which gave a big leap to such malls. 

next i came out with many bags full of all the purchased items from your shop placing them in the trolley. i was waiting for the riksha for a long time and it was already getting late so then i thought i will walk till the junction where i will get the riksha. i took out the bags from the trolley and headed towards the junction the guard came and started shouting at me.  because the trolley was just down the reliance boundary almost . legally it i kept it on the footpath one can say but it was just in front of the reliance fresh. i said sorry to him and with all those bags i kept that trolley back on the floor and came walking towards the riksha.

this is how reliance i s supposed to be? i am deeply hurt. just because i voiced something which was wrong the whole attitude has changed towards me!!! 

i doubt i will revisit" reliance fresh"  again. though i dont like to keep grudge on anyone, but this incidence made very sad and i am deeply hurt. need a long time to get myself healed.

As iam informing this due to one among all who loves to shop at RF, the reasons are so many when compare to other retailers. Lets note my complaint, I have heard that customer service provided at avadi RF was worst,i thought truthless, but yesterday the way they treated me shows, how worst they are, that guy was Mr. Rajesh (Fat,Black guy). Now i explain the whole thing, usually i used to shop with my RF bags which i got in my last purchase, i try to use the same for maximum (to reduce plastic usage), but yesterday i stopped by the security person saying that, bags are not allowed. Then i contacted Mr.Rajesh, and i explained my practice and i told, ok i keep the bag outside,after billing you just allow me to use that bag, but he replied immediately "if you needs to shop, shop otherwise go out". Dame sure i will not shop and promote avadi RF unless i got a replay for this. I don't know how you treat this mail, as a common man i did.

I would like to Draw your attention regarding above mentioned subject. Today (on 18th May 2011) I went to Reliance fresh outlet at  Tribhuvan Complex, Ghod Dod Road, Surat Gujarat. I saw placard of offer [1. 250 gm. capsicum free on the purchase of 500 gm.; 2. 1kg tomato free on the purchase of 1 kg.] at the outlet and became happy to think about the generosity shown by the Reliance Fresh. I bought few things and made the payment. but when i saw the bill, I noticed that my bill was not according to the offer. 
when i asked about the offer firstly, salesgirl said i donot have any idea about the offer on tomato and capsicum. then she inquired about the same and said it is, i am sorry. then she called up a boy and asked him to look into what to do? after having a glance on the bill he started shouting on me that you have taken  45 gm. less capsicum and 20 gm. less tomato. so, its not our fault.  and further on, keeps saying you people are careless & bla, bla... etc. 
After listening him I said, i took everything in sufficient amount but it is the salesgirl mistake that while weighing the product 2 tomatoes & 1 capsicum get out of the polythene packet that is why it is only 20gm. & 45 gm. less.
even after my explanation he shouted on me and i was feeling humiliated and misbehaved in front of 15-20 people. by that time the girl, who is in-charge of that outlet also came, but she didn't uttered even a single word. then I said thing is not I have come here only to get your offer, I have paid the money and if you accept you mistake, its alright. but you are misbehaving and this is not the way to talk to customer. I was shocked to have this kind of experience at an outlet, who claims to give comfort and behave professionally in today's globlised world.
I request you to kindly take the necessary action and i will not visit Reliance outlet until & unless the same guys will apologize me. This is not a threat but an opinion of a customer.

Loosing a customer may not affect your business today, but it might tomorrow (like in Bengal  it happened after 35 years)

Sir,
   I visited one of the reliance fresh outlet which is in kanika Road cuttack, and I tried to shop with sodexo meal pass coupon . But the store manager whose name is SAMBIT NAYAK having Employee Id-53001813 refused to accept the coupon and harassed me.
                                                                                                         So I request you to look into the matter and take necessary action against the employee .If no action is taken then I may take legal action against the company for not providing service.

Sir,
 
I am a regular customer of ur stores since 2007.Yesterday i visited ur store located at North Usman Road.I shopped for more than Rs500 and they provided me a poor polythene bag in blue colour which got cut while taking home.
 
Also I have to wait atleast 15mins in billing counters regularly to get serviced.Only 3 counters will be operating ven in peak hours.
 
Please do something to provide good service to us.
