Complaint against Eveready Battery Charger purchased from your store

Sir,
       I had purchased Eveready Battery Charger from your outlet situated at Anmol Complex, Near Jammu Hospital, Kapurthala Road, Basti Mithu, Jalandhar on 3 MAY 2011. I can't make out the bill/invoice number on the cash receipt, which shows your indifference towards the customer care. The inscription on the said receipt shows C 9984 #0144 19:04:13 3 MAY 2011.Under the said receipt, I purchased apart from other things,one Eveready Battery Charger worth Rs. 340/-. During  the first charging with the said charger, the connecting points holding the battery have loosened rendering the said charger useless.
       Today, I contacted one of your employee/manager working in the above mentioned outlet and apprised him about the said problem. He told me that the goods sold by the Reliance do not carry and guarantee and the goods once sold cannot be replaced or repaired.
        I hereby call upon you through this notice/mail to immediately contact me with in 7 days of receipt of this mail and rectify the defect or replace the defective charger with a new one, otherwise, I will initiate appropriate legal proceedings against you noticee.
