Dear Sir,

I am writing this mail to you in Public interest with the great expectation that some strong action shall be taken for this.

We all people come to your outlets to shop and not to be trapped and foolled by agents of some groups (Like Awesome Holidays) who are actually not yours but are being permitted by your people to roam inside your outlets, and target all your customers. These agents ask the customers to fill in small forms, collect the contact details and then rest of the story is as mentioned in the trailing mail.

This is immidiately required that you ban entry and use of your spaces by any such agent of this group to safeguard the interest of Public.

Kindly, by means of some circular, Inform all your branches to stop immidiately the entry of any such agent.

Hallo everybody,

This mail is meant just to make you people aware of a group "Awesome Holidays" who make fool of people in the name of providing vacations packages for 10 yrs. The points to be known about this group are –

·         You may confront with the agents of this group in some shopping mall or Retails outlets like Reliance fresh, Big Bazaar, Spencer's, Lifestyle etc. where these agents get bulk people of medium class.

·         They shall give you a small form to fill in your contact details in the name of lucky draw.

·         After a few days, some representative from awesome holidays shall call you and tell that your name has been shortlisted in the lucky winners and you can collect your lucky coupon from them, all you shall be required to do is to spare 1hr of time to meet them with your wife.

·         When you go to them thinking that there is nothing to lose, just a matter of 1  Hr., and you shall get a free gift, you have fallen in trap.

·         The biggest fraud in this episode shall be making all big but false promises that their executive shall make to you to make you register for their membership and pay them the huge amount for this – and in return after a few days you will find that you have been fooled absolutely. I too had fallen in trap and my experience is as follows:

I was told that

·          that they have got their resorts at most of the places to visit in India and abroad which we can avail after becoming a member. When I actually saw the list, it was a very small list covering only few places for which I would never like to pay them Rs 1 Lakh ( to be paid partly downpayment and balance in EMI's). In turn they told that this list covers only the resorts which are of their own but we can still go to any place around the world, and if at some place they don't have their own resort, they shall arrange a 4 star resort for us and we shall not be required to spend anything for another 10 yrs. ------ After registering with them, when I asked them to book a resort a Srinagar as I was planning a vacation over there, they said that they don't have resort of their own there and if I want them to book any other resort there, I shall have to pay for that. That was beyond my understanding, why the hell will anybody then pay Rs 1 Lakh to them.

·          That if you are not satisfied with the services, you can cancel the membership anytime and by that time whatever money has been paid by you minus the amount for which you have availed their services shall be returned to you. When after being declined for my Srinagar package and getting to know that actually their membership can be availed only for their own resorts and not for any other, and knowing that their list is so small that it is absolutely foolish to pay Rs. 1 Lakh to them for only a limited destinations to be visited in 10 yrs of membership, I asked them to cancel the membership and return my down payment -------- In turn they said that nothing can be returned since as per their rules only the amount over and above 40% of the to total membership cost can be returned.  Now I am feeling absolutely cheated.

All this has been written only to create a awareness not to fooled by this group.

I request you all to forward this mail to all concerned so that they may not fall in trap.

Regards,

Manish Gupta.

Thank you so much Manish. I got a call this morning with an exactly similar tone and was invited to a function hall to collect my "lucky draw prize". I was actually contemplating going there, but luckily google took me to ur post. I immediately called the guy and canclled my appointment. I have also sent an e-mail to my colleagues warning them about this fraud. thank you again....

We had a very very bad experience with Awesome Holidays (DT Mega Mall gurgeon) We received call from one of the agent around 7 to 8 calls within span of 3 hours from name like Anjwani Mishra forcing us to collect gift voucher of 3 night stay and 4 days in 4 locations with free AC 3 Tier tickets saying that we have won this in Lucky draw and we can collect this after 1 hour demo about Awesome holidays gift is valid on that day only. we were so excited once we heard about this and hired a cab from delhi to collect the gift after we landed there we can came to know real story and we realized that we have landed in a business trap. we told waited for 1 hour demo as already lot of innocent couples like us were taking their demos with disappointed thinking faces (I am sure they were also trapped like us with this free gift tactic) once our turn came the ajvani mishra started to ask me which car i drive and where i work and my wife works about my parents jobs and my in laws jobs even though its none of his business. He told about various packages 5 year 75k+20k(maintenance) and 10 year (2 lakhs +) and asked us to take spot decision on one of the package i told i need more time but he kept on forcing.i requested him to give us gift voucher so that i can try there resorts first and i was surprised with his answer (This was his answer ***How can we provide such package for free ***) i asked him then you said you will be giving us a gift voucher for free then he said ya we will give a different one from one of our tie ups. After that he provided us another membership scheme saying it will cost only 18,500 and only for two years with 2 days each year. I know i can get better deals than that in yatra.com or makemytrip..finally he said if i am going to take that package he will include free gift vocher along with it. I got angry and just walked away with my wife from that place. Please becareful everyone don't fall in this trap.Government should really take action on these kind of fraud companies for cheating innocent people in the name of free gift voucher.
