Dear Sir / Madam,
 
We are residing at Kalyani Nagar , Pune and have been shopping at the Reliance Fresh Branch very regularly.
What has transpired with us at your Branch has been disturbing, alarming and completely  unpleasant.
I would like to inform you in  a few words the experience that we have undergone.
 
On Sunday April 17th we shopped for value of about Rs.1000.00 only for purposes of donating to a orphanage.
There was a scheme which mentioned that on a billing of Rs.399.00, one could avail of kwality wall icecream worth 140 for Rs.99.00.
We bought two packs. As we were travelling to the orphanage, we requested the staff if we could collect the items later on.  
The billing staff confered with the floor manager and confirmed the same. I had in the meanwhile also checked on the points accumulated on my card.
Since there were a few heavy packages we were told that some staff would help us. However there was reluctance from the staff and all the heavy packages were carried by my husband. The staff chose to pick the lighter biscuit packages after inquiring where the vehicle was parked. The bill collected mentioned " Ice cream pending". We had already paid for the icecream in our bill.
 
Today, April 19th, we went with the bill to the same outlet. There was no cooperation. We had to request the staff to man the billing counter. On presenting the bill and the iceream packages., There was a flurry of confusion. Nobody had a cluue. They asked us why we did not get the bill signed from  the staff on that day. We were made to wait for about half an hour while there were calls being made. The floor manager and the staff who had attended us were not responding to their mobile phones.
 
We had had enough and decided to walk out with the package. We were stopped and then told it is okay since you are on camera. I admit we were completely at wits end by now and had to tell the staff in a stern voice. At this point, one young staff actually came towards us and gesticulated and raised his arm and told us that "I Will Hit you ". This was told to us a number of times. We decided to call the police and i drove to the nearest police station while my husband waited at your outlet.
 
We decided not to take the matter further with the police only because we did not wish to take this disgusting event any further and there was a strong indication that the staff might loose their jobs and their families might suffer on the account of our 200.00 worth of icecream !!
 
There was not even a apology from any of the staff during this entire episode.
We were disgusted with the behaviour and in general the apathy, the disrespect and non caring attitude of RELIANCE FRESH.
We have torn the bill and given it to the staff and left the icecream packages at the security itself.
 
This was definitely our last entry to anything to do with Reliance Stores.
Only to inform you, we are regular customers to Vision Express ( Kharadi ), and also recently shopped at your store in Gurgaon.
 
Our sincere prayer that customers get better treatment and are not threatened at your businesses.
